Inspired by Project 1619, the North Shore's own Project 1692 is committed to uncompromised historical integrity. We approach every narrative and tour with meticulous accuracy—dismantling modern folklore and sensationalized myths to deliver an authentic, evidence-based understanding of our shared past.
Project 1692 is committed to going beyond the folklore, rumors, and misconceptions that are often hurdles in discovering the deepest truths about accusations of witchcraft. This is a special creation by Ancestry Tour Agents owner Roger Herson shared with Historic Beverly so that together we can use our own history to clear away the fog of misconception and folklore and get a little closer to the truth, and thereby giving us a better understanding of what our ancestors both caused and endured.
