HAUNTED: A True Hysteria Tour

For true lovers of history

There is no other tour like this in Salem.  It is written, researched, and presented by one of Salem’s most experienced  guides.  With over 30 years of experience in the tourism scene in Salem, Roger Herson will amaze you with the story of not just the Hysteria of 1692, but an up front and in depth look on how the region is still impacted by the events today.  Never in our history, has it been more important to remember the impact that ignorance and superstition can have in driving division, inequality, and hate into our society.  This is the most in-depth, heartfelt, and exclusive walk through Salem from a guide who is not only a descendant of multiple witch trial families, but also an outspoken member of the LGBTQ+ community.   This tour was specially designed for anyone on the colorful spectrums of life.  Whether you are queer, a different race,  or if you have just always been different than the norm, this guided walk is especially designed for you.  From the hysteria to modern day witch hunts, Roger Herson has either studied it or experienced it personally.  If you want a feel for the TRUE Salem Experience, this is a tour you need to add to your agenda.  They are private by appointment only. and approximately 2 hours long. We will not be booking  until May of 2025.
